By placing an order, you understand that:

• You must be 18 years old to purchase black powder firearms and 21 years old to purchase ammunition, powder and FFL required Firearms. An adult signature will be required.
•  If shipment is refused, freight charges will be charged back to the customer.
•  UPS's liability is limited to US $100.00 on packages with no declared value.   ANTIQUE FIREARMS
  We consider all of our antique guns as non-firing, inoperable and/or inert. Title 18, U.S. Code, Section 921(a)(16) defines antique firearms as all guns made prior to 1899. This law exempts antique firearms from any form of gun control or special engineering because they are not legally considered firearms. No FFL, C&R or any license is required to posses, transport, sell or trade Antique guns. All rifles and muskets sold were manufactured prior to 1898, and are considered Antiques by the ATF. Theoretically, they are safe to sell to any state, but for liability issues, we will only sell to the same states that we sell BP guns to, listed below.
  
  These antique guns are not sold in “live” condition. They are sold as collector’s items. Any attempt at firing, restoring an antique gun to be operational, or making any modifications, is strongly discouraged and is done so at the risk of the customer. By purchasing an antique gun from Old South Firearms, you thereby release Old South, its employees and corporate officers from any and all liability associated with use of our Antique guns.
  

Shipping Requirements:

• By law, all caps, powder and ammunition must be shipped separately and must be purchased as a stand alone order, additional fees will apply.
• No merchandise will be shipped to any location with legal restrictions, including prohibiting its ownership and/or possession. See chart below.
• We can ship products anywhere in the United States, depending on certain restrictions as determined by law. Please contact us if you would like to discuss international ordering options and requirements.
• Ammunition, caps, and Powder shall not be returned nor the purchase price refunded by Old South Firearms due to safety reasons.
• Ammunition and powder in any form will require an adult signature and will be shipped UPS Ground due to shipping regulations.
  
• All bluing, finishing kits and other liquids must be shipped UPS.
