Engraved "War and Peace" Locking Revolver Presentation Case

"Si vis pacem para bellum" - the Latin phrase goes back to at least the 4th century and means, "If you want peace, prepare for war."While you probably will not be preparing for war with your classic revolver, it doesn't hurt to keep it handy, and this custom engraved box is perfect for the job.

We have taken some of our beautiful "antiqued" revolver cases and added a piece of art designed and engraved by Old South Firearms to it. The cases feature a solid wood top, with an engraving of the crossed Roman gladius, surrounded by olive branches - ancient symbols of war and peace.

Each case features a compartment for your single action revolver and four additional compartments for accessories.

Each one has been hand picked by us for its unique qualities in wood grain, color and character. Then each has been stripped, sanded, distressed, and finished lovingly by hand. The finish is then worn, and the blemishes darkened, to give it the appearance and character of age. Finally the boxes are "seasoned" using two different oils to color and preserve these treasures.

Our technique gives these boxes a finish similar to antique cedar chests, but as no two are alike there are some variations in color.

The box will accommodate most Black Powder revolvers with up to an 8" barrel.
