This is the "Civil War" style Conversion Cylinder Assembly, it will convert your 1858 Remington Pietta to .45 ACP.
Purchase either the .45 LC or the .45 ACP cylinder assembly and purchase an addition cylinder of the opposite caliber. You can use the same conversion ring for both cylinders and triple your shooting pleasure, it's like having three revolvers in one. .44 Cal. Black Powder - .45 Cal. Long Colt - .45 Cal. APC
All Kirst Konverters are precision CNC machined in the USA from 4140 Steel and heat-treated. The cartridge conversions are rated "For Black Powder or equivalent loads only," which includes the current Cowboy Loads on the market (Read the "Caution" statement below).
Some minor filing may be require for an accurate fit. Instructions are includer, and no major gunsmithing is required. Call if you have any questions.
Caution:
1. Ammunition must be loaded with lead bullets and a low-pressure powder charge that DOES NOT EXCEED 1000 FEET PER SECOND VELOCITY!
2. NOT FOR USE IN BRASS FRAME REVOLVERS!
3. .44 and .45 caliber cylinders must NEVER BE INSTALLED IN A .36 CALIBER REVOLVER!
