The LC-1 All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment (ALICE) was adopted in 1973 to replace previous equipment belts. It served through the mid-2000s and still sees use with some Guard units, as well as some Air Force and Navy personnell.
The Canteen cover is Vietnam era, and canteen is presumably from the same era.
This belt was found in storage complete as shown. Due to poor storage the belt has rust on it, and the canteen and pouch are mostly for show as one of the buttons is frozen shut, and the canteen has corroded and has at least one hole.
The belt is still usable, and the whole ensemble would be great for a costume.
