Civil War Powder Horn - Brass Spout
These powder horns are polished to a high shine and made from Genuine Buffalo Horn. Comes with a solid brass dispenser and spring push button valve. The brass dispenser measures out 70 grains powder. (If you would like to change the amount of grains to your specific shooting needs, all it takes is a copper tubing cutter to cut the brass tip down). If a larger spout is needed, traditions brass spout sets have the exact same threads and can be changed out in an instant; making it easy to adjust your powder charge for different firearms on the go. The end of the powder horn is capped with a wooden acorn end piece. The shoulder sling is a 1/4" rope leather cord. These horns are a Civil War Era Style Reproduction from America's Living history. Degree of marbling and shapes varies slightly, pulled at random. Average length - 10" (including brass spout) x width 2 3/4". The brass dispenser tip is 2 1/2" L x 1/2" Diameter. The push button valve is spring loaded so it keeps the powder in the horn until you push the button. Great for the home, reenactment events, Civil War, Rendezvous, Renaissance, Medieval, Pow Wow, and Living History.

These are the same great quality as above, but they have been specially selected for their unusual colorations or patterns. Wheras the standard horn is mostly black these feature either a mottled "mocha" appearance or bold white or "calico" patterns Premium horns will be sold in order from the most bold pattern down. So get yours early.
