This is an original M1945 field pack and Field Cargo Pack with a rubberized liner. This was part of a USGI's total loadout, which would have also included suspenders (not included). The Field Pack can be used alone as a backpack, and the Cargo Field Pack can be used alone as a small duffle bag.
The Field Pack was made in 1951. Someone has written a name and address on the top of the bag in black marker. Condition is good and the liner is in great shape.
The Cargo Field pack is of uncertain date and provenance, but it certainly spent time in Korea. In addition to numerous US marks and stamps, there are also numerous Korean stamps and marks, many handwritten. It may have a date of 1952, but that is uncertain as the date stamp is badly faded and obscured with other marks. Condition is fair, see pictures for details.
Perfect for reenactment, collectors, camping and more.
These items arrive as surplus and may feature minor wear, dust and minor imperfections. As-Is. No returns or refunds. Call 205-533-8595 with questions.
