This M1916 holster was made by Boyt in 1942 for military use with the M1911/M1911A1 Pistol. These holsters were designed for the rigors of World War 1, and were still in limited use in the 1980s.
Overall condition is good, with minor cracking, skratches and dings consistent with long term use. The leather insert is missing, as is common with many of these.
The holster is still usable, and would be great for a costume, collector or reenactor.
These items arrive as surplus and may feature wear, dust and minor imperfections. As-Is. No returns or refunds. Call 205-533-8595 with questions.
