The Model 30 bayonet was used from 1897 to 1945, with very few changes.
Matsushita Kinzoku KK, was the metal works wing of the National Denki electic corporation, and made these bayonets under Kokura Arsenal Supervision. After the war Denki became better known as Panasonic.
This is an early war pattern bayonet which makes the condition unbelievable. The blade appears unissued. When we received it, the blade was still packed with grease. The blade still retains most of its blue. The handle shows some some storage wear and a small chip. The scabbard has a little rust and a dent. See pictures for condition.
This bayonet is WWII surplus, and may feature minor wear, light rust, dust and minor imperfections, none of which take away from it's beauty. As-Is. No returns or refunds. Call 205-533-8595 with questions.
