This is an original M-65 Insulating Helmet Liner, made by Society Brand Hat Co in 1970. These warm, fleece-lined liners were put into service in 1965, and were used until the steel pot helmet was fully phased out in the 1980s - and possibly for a few years after by troops that just wanted something to keep their head and neck warm. The fold down bill means that this can easily be worn alone.
Size 7 3/4
Condition Very Good.
Perfect for collectors, reenactors, hikers, campers, and more.
No returns or refunds. Call 205-533-8595 with questions.
