The OG-507 uniform was an update of the OG-107 uniform adopted for the Korean War in 1952, and used throughout the Vietnam War. The code, OG 107, actually referred to the dye used, Olive Green formula 107. In 1975 the military updated the OG-107 Type III uniform - adopted in 1965 - to a more rugged, perma-press, cotton-poly blend, which took dye differently, thus the switch to formula 507.
The OG 507 uniform was used by the Army, Marines, Navy, and Air Force from 1975 until it was phased out, beginning in 1981, with the USAF being the last to phase it out in the mid '80s.
These are from a 1977 contract. Condition is very good. There are a few small flaws on the leg that look like a textile error, but may have been a very professional repair. They are barely noticible. These items arrive as surplus and may feature minor wear, dust and minor imperfections. As-Is. No returns or refunds. Call 205-533-8595 with questions.
