The Navy Working Uniform (NWU) Type-1 served from 2008 through 2019. It is one of the most maligned uniforms in U.S. history, perhaps even more than the Army's "Grandma's Couch"-pattern ACU. The Navy claimed that it chose the blue pattern, known by sailors as "aquaflage" or "Blueberries" was both a nod to their Naval heritage and designed to match the most used shipboard paints, and thus not show stains as easily.
However, the uniform more greatly resembled a land-based combat uniform than anything from the Navy's history, and the most common paint color in the Navy is grey - a color not well-represented on the uniform. About the only thing it blended in to was the ocean, and nobody wanted to be hard to see if they go overboard. Other criticisms were the uniform's tendency to catch on fire while welding or doing similar work, and the expense of replacing it.
The uniforms come with an embroidered logo, and a camo pattern with hidden anchors logos in it, making it more expensive than the old denims
All that said, it is comfortable, stylish, and great for night hunts
Perfect for collectors, paint ball, hunting and more. Excellent condition. Size Large-Long
