The M-9 gas mask was designed in 1947, and was updated several times before being phased out. It was one of the most comfortable and versatile masks in American history. Despite production ending in the early 1960s, this mask continued to see limited service into the eighties.
The M9A1 is typically found in the M11 carrier adopted during the Korean war. This bag, however, despite being stamped M9A1 is the pre-1951 M9 carrier bag. Both the M9 and M9A1, and the different bag variants were used extensively and almost exclusively throughout the Korean and Vietnam wars.
Condition is good, but it is missing the carrying strap.
Excellent for reenactors, hobbyists, collectors, and more.
These items arrive as surplus and may feature minor wear, dust and minor imperfections. As-Is. No returns or refunds. Call 205-533-8595 with questions.
