This is a post-1950 made M1923 cartridge belt for the M1903 and M1 Garand. Unfortunately the maker stamp has badly faded, and "C-90 526" (possibly a company or battalion) was painted over it with white paint, so exact manufacturer and date cannot be determined. We do know it is post-1950 due to pocket and buckle construction, and no M1923 belts were made after 1960. This pouch was most likely made and used for the Korean War.
Condition is good, and all but one of the snaps work easily.
The belt is still usable, and the whole ensemble would be great for a costume, collector or reenactor.
These items arrive as surplus and may feature wear, dust and minor imperfections. As-Is. No returns or refunds. Call 205-533-8595 with questions.
