Kirst Cartridge Konverter™ for .36 caliber
1858 Remington, reproduction revolvers.

NEW for 2020 .38 Special -Six Shot: The .36 caliber percussion revolver barrel has a bore diameter of .375 inches. Today’s .38 caliber cartridges are loaded with .357-inch diameter bullets. This cylinder is designed specifically to fire the .357 diameter 38 SPL lead bullets.

While this setup is accurate enough for SASS and CAS applications, even better accuracy can be obtained by re-lining your barrel.

The Kirst Cartridge Konverter™ for the 1858 Remington Navy revolvers is manufactured with a Color Case Hardened Konverter Ring and loading gate.

Simple, step-by-step instructions and a loading port template are included with each Kirst Cartridge Konverter™ for the 1858 Remington revolvers. A very functional, spring-loaded ejector assembly is also available to further customize your revolver.

1. Ammunition must be loaded with lead bullets and a low-pressure powder charge that DOES NOT EXCEED 1000 FEET PER SECOND VELOCITY!
2. NOT FOR USE IN BRASS FRAME REVOLVERS!

3. .44 and .45 caliber cylinders must NEVER BE INSTALLED IN A .36 CALIBER REVOLVER!
