This is a Chilmark Pewter, "The Homecoming" limited run pewter statue by Francis Barnum. Produced in 1994, this special edition statue (#363 out of 2500) is highly detailed. Chillmark closed their Hudson Creek Pewter studio in 2000, which was considered one of the finest such studios in the world, producing Western, Civil War, and fantasy statuettes.
"The Homecoming"depicts a Confederate soldier preparing to embrace his wife.
