The M-65 Field Coat served from 1965 to 2005. This stylish and iconic jacket has been imitated by other countries and fashion designers alike. The Desert Camo verion seen here served from 1991 to 2008 with the Army, until 2005 with the Marine Corps, 2011 with the Air Force, and 2012 with the Navy. However, Special Forces STILL use this jacket
Military records show that this design is "A coat primarily designed for protection at mean monthly temperatures of plus 14 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 10 degrees Celsius) to plus 68 degrees Fahrenheit (plus 20 degrees Celsius)."

The Vz-53 Helmet was standard Czech issue from 1953 until it was replaced in 1992, but the helmet was also a standardly issued item by the North Vietnamese Army (NVA).
