E. Esdaile and Sons, of New South Wales produced high quality naval/nautical, navigational, surveying, optical and mathematical instruments from 1891 until the 1970s. They produced military equipment for ANZAC forces in WW2.

This brass binnacle dated from the turn of the century to the mid-1920s. It is illuminated by oil lamp, but appears never to have been lit. In fact, aside from minor dings and scratches from 100 +/- years of being handled, this item is in great shape and appears to have never been used, and the magnet is strong.

Weight is over 6 lbs. Dimensions are approx 10.5" wide, 10" tall, 9" length.

This item came from a private collection, is 100 years old, and may feature minor wear, dust and minor imperfections, none of which take away from it's beauty. As-Is. No returns or refunds. Call 205-533-8595 with questions.
