This is the original, and somewhat rare, MultiCam, designed by CryoTek/Crye Precision. It was originally supposed to replace the popular, but ageing, Woodland Camo designed in the '80s. For some reason the project ended, officially, with the roll out of the ACU and its terrible, digital, Universal Camoflage Pattern.
The Universal Camo was wholly inadequate for the Operation Enduring Freedom battlefields. This original MultiCam, often referred to as the OEF pattern, or the Gen-II OCP, was deployed from 2001 through 2004 by Special Forces groups and other Special Operations.
This is different from the later, updated, version which began to see "regular Army" use in 2008-2014

The Army Combat Uniform (ACU) is the current uniform pattern. Condition is great.
